One important training tool I use is the impact or smash bag. It allows me to study and practice my impact position for a better swing. With this tool, I’ll be able to train for the “feel” of a perfect impact position and use this knowledge when I tee off.
This is a great tool to compare my ideal impact position with my actual impact position. My ideal position is to concentrate my weight firmly on my front foot and my swing, involving my upper body completely for crucial power. Remember, the more your arms are swinging with your upper body, the more power the swing has.
