In his first victory owning a WGC Match Play, Rory McIlroy didn’t perform very well during the start. However, Gary Woodland performed the opposite way. He rallied inward half. A critical miss to win the 13th had him short with one hole.
The World Number One took the crown after he three-putted and the hole was halved in bogey fives. His two shots on the last hole had him way past Jim Furyk.
