Move Closer to the Ball
Standing too far away from the ball overextends your arms. This gives you too much bend in your upper body, forcing the club to come to the inside on the backswing
Neutralize Hands at Address
Pressing your hands too far forward will force your takeaway too much to the inside. When the club moves to the inside on the takeaway, your downswing will be “over the top”.
Hinge Wrist at Takeaway
Not having enough wrist hinge works the club low and in. This will cause pulls, slices, and steep divots.
