According to Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge, several layers of snow and ice on the Top of the Rock golf course south of Branson wouldn’t slow down their preparations.
According to Tournament Director Kirk Elmquist, it wasn’t tough to think about golf in such winter weather. Elmquist said he and his team will have the tournament course ready within 57 days.
Meanwhile, Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Colin Montogomerie, Ben Crenshaw, Davis Love III and Ian Woosnam have officially announced they’re joining the competition.
