It seems New Zealand still has it! After 10 years, New Zealander Danny Lee won the first PGA Tour Title after 10 years for his country.
In his final round against four players, he was sharing the lead with 13-under. Lee defeated Canadian David Hearn and Americans Kevin Kisner and Robert Streb.
His reaction? “All I can say is wow” Lee said.
“This is what winning feels like”
Lee doesn’t just have to feel, however. He also takes home $1.2 million and tour exemptions. By winning, he automatically qualifies for the Open Championship, the PGA championship and 2016’s PGA Masters.
