Major golf organizations, including PGA and LPGA had dropped business tycoon Donald Trump about his comments regarding Mexican immigrants as “rapists and killers”. The LPGA, PGA Tour, PGA of America and USGA, connected through Trump through tournaments, made it clear in a statement that they did not reflect the views of the tycoon.
About 18 courses worldwide and a golf course in New Jersey is owned by Trump. His New Jerseny Golf Course is to host the 2017 US Women’s Open and the 2022 PGA Championship. No statement whether the PGA has dropped plans as of yet.
